About Surrey
Surrey is a surprising county. Being so close to the vast conurbation of London, you wouldn't expect Surrey to be England's most wooded county. But it is, and some of this woodland is very ancient indeed. The county is also of international importance for its extensive lowland heath and for the stunning chalk grasslands of the north downs. These are rich habitats and are home to many species of rare and declining birds, plants, insects and other animals. We specialise in small group guided days and short breaks to show you the very best of Surrey's natural history. We have been wandering the woods, heaths and downs for many years and look forward to sharing our love and knowledge of this beautiful corner of England with you.
Guided Tours
Our walks are led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic local guides. Our standard tours are listed below but we are very flexible and will try to accommodate any request you may have. Just tell us what you'd like to see and we will do our best to find it for you. One of our aims is to encourage a love for nature in children so we do not charge for them on our tours as long as they are accompanied. Once booked, all you need to do is meet at the appointed time and place and we'll take you from there. We hope to see you soon in a wild corner of Surrey
